The Department for International Trade (DIT), Scottish Enterprise, Invest NI and Business Wales in conjunction with the Great British Food Programme, is bringing together a network of trusted buyers and distributors from the Middle East and Pakistan to the Gulfood 2022 Virtual meet the buyer event.
Over 500 pre-selected meetings will be held over the course of this 3-day event, where you’ll be able to engage with those buyers that have selected you at a mutually agreed time that suits both parties. Multiple overseas markets will be represented throughout for what promises to be an action-packed event where new, prosperous relationships will be made.

This is an exclusive opportunity for producers to showcase their products, and to internationalise and innovate their business, by connecting with a range of overseas buyers who are all hungry to buy quality UK produce.
How does it work?
The buyer network will select food and drink producers they are interested in and the B2Match system will schedule in a meeting at a mutually convenient time, please ensure you accept these requests. Once the booking meeting phase has finished, the Great British Food Programme Team will contact food and drink sellers that have scheduled meetings with buyers to request samples, confirm consolidation point, how samples need to be packed and deadline for receipt. To make sure that you get the most out of the event we also have our colleagues from the markets joining this event to take 1:2:1 meetings. All face-to-face virtual meetings will take place on the platform via the in-house video chat feature.
